1. Who we are
Jaidad Finder (“we”, “us”) runs jaidadfinder.com: a map of plots in housing societies in Islamabad, with listings for sale and rent posted by property dealers. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
2. What the map is — and is not
The plot outlines on the map are traced by us from layout plans approved by the relevant society or authority. Tracing is done by hand and by software, and it contains errors: a boundary can be a few feet out, a plot number can be wrong, and a plan can have been revised since we traced it.
- The map is a guide for finding a plot. It is not a survey, a title document, a demarcation, or evidence of anything in a dispute.
- Before buying, renting or building, verify the plot with the society, the development authority and a surveyor. Never rely on our outline alone.
- If you think a boundary is wrong, every listed plot’s page has an “Is this boundary wrong?” link. We read every report; we do not promise a fix by any date.
Aerial imagery is © Esri and its data suppliers. Layout plans are © the respective society or authority. The traced parcel data and the site itself are ours. You may not copy, scrape or redistribute the map data, plot outlines or listings in bulk without our written permission.
3. Listings
Listings are posted by dealers, not by us. A dealer is responsible for the price, the description, the photographs, and for actually having the right to sell or rent what they list. We do not inspect plots, we do not verify prices, and we do not warrant that a listing is accurate, current or genuine. A seller may add one video of the property; we host it unlisted on YouTube, so it plays on the listing and to anyone with the link but does not appear in YouTube search.
We may remove any listing, at any time, without notice, if we believe it is misleading, duplicated, unlawful or breaks these terms. We may also suspend or close a dealer account for the same reasons.
4. Ownership claims
A person can tell us they own a plot. Our staff check such claims by hand, against what the person tells us about their ownership and any papers they show our staff. A claim we have accepted means we were satisfied on that day — it does not mean we have confirmed ownership, and we do not guarantee that the person shown as owner is the owner. Do your own due diligence before any transaction.
5. Your account
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password to yourself. What is done from your account is treated as done by you.
- You must be at least 18 to hold an account.
- Do not use the site to harass anyone, post someone else’s plot as your own, submit false claims or documents, probe or overload our systems, or do anything that is against the law in Pakistan.
6. Dealer accounts and paid packages
Dealers who buy a listing package are buying the right to post listings for the package period. Fees are stated at the time of purchase and, once a package is active, are not refundable, unless we fail to provide the service or the law requires a refund. We may change package prices; a change applies to your next purchase, not to a package you have already paid for.
7. Enquiries and notifications
When you enquire about a listing, your phone number — and your name, if you give it — are passed to the dealer who posted it so they can reply. We do not collect an email address on an enquiry. When you ask to be told when a plot comes up, we notify you by email, and by browser push on any device where you have switched it on. Dealers who opt in when they register also receive our messages on WhatsApp at the number they gave — new enquiries, reminders, decisions on documents and receipts — and can reply STOP to any message to stop them. You can stop notifications from your account at any time.
8. What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available at all times, that it will be free of errors, or that any plot, price or listing shown is accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from a decision you made relying on the map, a listing, an ownership claim or anything else on the site, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Islamabad have jurisdiction. The Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 applies to conduct on this site, including unauthorised access, false information and harassment, and we will cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities under it.
10. Changes to these terms
We will change these terms as the product changes and after legal review. The date at the top is the date of the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
